Christmas Tree Recycling

After raising over £750 last year, York Round Table will once again be offering a Christmas Tree recycling service in conjunction with City of York Council and YorWaste.

We will be located at Askham Bar Tesco Extra on Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th January between 10am and 4pm where you will be able to drop-off your tree for a small donation (£5) to this years chosen charity, Menfulness. Your tree will then be recycled and turned into compost.

New for 2022, we will also be offering a collection service. For a donation of £10 per tree, we will come to you and collect your tree. Simply use the form below to arrange your collection.

About Menfulness

Menfulness began with three university friends, continually getting messages from society to "man up" and be strong leading to a reluctance and unwillingness in men to 'open up'. We now know this drives many men of our age to crisis and too often suicide.

Using their shared lived experience, they created Menfulness. A positive, safe and proactive place for men who are struggling to talk freely, openly and without judgement about their feelings.

All funding will go towards their activities such as football, social circuits, allotment and, most importantly, counselling sessions.
